Chipotle does not accept EBT. Restaurant food is considered hot or prepared food, which you cannot buy with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, as previously reported.

While some states do have Restaurant Meals Programs, which allow select EBT recipients to buy meals at approved restaurants, Chipotle does not accept EBT even in those states. We confirmed this information by contacting Chipotle locations and checking state SNAP-approved retailer lists.

Other Restaurants That Take EBT

For more information about Restaurant Meals Programs and which restaurants participate, see our list of fast food places that accept EBT. We also have the details of Del Taco’s EBT acceptance policy.
