Where Can I Load My Netspend Card? Where to Do It for Free? Answered

There are a few different ways you can load your Netspend Visa Prepaid Card or Netspend Prepaid Mastercard:

• Direct deposit: Direct deposits can come from an employer, tax refund, Social Security benefits, Supplemental Security Income, a pension, Railroad Retirement Benefits, Defense Finance and Accounting Service Payments, veterans’ benefits, and some state unemployment and disability benefits.
• Mobile Check Load: You can deposit the funds from a check into your account by scanning an image of the check using the Netspend Mobile App. The Netspend Mobile App is available for Android and iOS devices.
• Reload Locations: There are more than 130,000 locations across the U.S. where you can load your Netspend card. Most of these businesses charge a fee up to $4.95 per transaction — but some will load your card for free. You can load your card with cash or check at any Reload Location.
  • MoneyGram: You can purchase and reload more than 100 popular prepaid cards, including Netspend cards, at many MoneyGram locations. Keep in mind, you’ll want to reference Receive Code 7000; fees may apply.
  • Western Union: Western Union issues its own Western Union Netspend Prepaid Mastercard. You can reload your Netspend card at many Western Union locations, including those found at BP, Fifth Third Bank, and Kmart, Mobil, and Publix locations; fees may apply.
