West Elm Price Adjustment Policy: Price Adjustment Availability Explained

West Elm does not offer price adjustments, corporate customer service representatives said. We called stores in Alabama, California, Idaho, New York, and Rhode Island to confirm this policy; none of the locations we spoke with offer price adjustments.

All West Elm prices are subject to change; temporary price reductions or permanent price increases may appear once you add an online item to the shopping cart. West Elm’s website prices may also differ from store and catalog prices, and prices may differ between store locations; we were told that West Elm will not adjust for or match any of these price differences.

If you notice an item at a lower price shortly after purchasing it, West Elm customer service advises to cancel your order or return your original purchase for a refund and then buy the item at its newer discounted price. To cancel an order or initiate a return, contact customer service at (888) 922-4119.

Other Ways to Save at West Elm

Though West Elm does not offer price adjustments, it offers other ways to save for West Elm credit cardholders and members of The Key rewards program.

The West Elm Credit Card

The West Elm credit card offers cardholders a choice of earning $25 in rewards on every $250 spent or receiving 12 months of special financing on single purchases over $750. Cardholders also receive bonus reward opportunities and other exclusive benefits. Keep in mind that the West Elm credit card is subject to credit approval, and purchases will accrue interest.

The Key Rewards Program

The Key member rewards program is free to enroll online or in-store. You can earn 3% in rewards each time you shop at West Elm or any of its family brands, including Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, and Mark and Graham.

Note that West Elm, Pottery Barn, and Williams Sonoma credit cardholders can be members of The Key rewards program but cannot earn both Key Rewards and credit card rewards on the same purchase. With the exception of the Williams Sonoma Visa, store credit card purchases will only qualify for the credit card rewards program.
