Weis Carpet Cleaner Rental Policy

Most Weis Markets rent out Bissell-brand carpet cleaners. We contacted Weis Markets in Delaware, Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania to find out about the carpet cleaner rental policy. We were told that carpet cleaners are available in one size: the Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine 86T3. You can rent the machine for $29.99 for a 24-hour rental period and $39.99 for a 48-hour rental period. A bag of attachments for detailed cleaning can be rented out for an additional $5 per day. Weis does not rent out steam cleaners.

The Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine is similar to the Rug Doctor Pro Deep Cleaner and Rug Doctor X3 Carpet Cleaner, which can be rented from stores like Safeway and Cub Foods (as previously reported).

Keep in mind, you cannot pay less to rent a carpet cleaner for just a few hours. That means if you return the machine early, you will not receive a refund or discount. However, if you return the carpet cleaner outside your rental period, you may be charged an additional full day’s rental fee ($29.99).

You can rent a carpet cleaner from Weis Markets any time the customer service desk is open. Typical service hours are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. You’ll need to pay rental fees upfront with cash, a credit card, or a debit card. No deposit is required.

To use the machine, you’ll need to purchase a cleaning solution. Weis Markets sells Bissell-brand cleaning solutions ranging in price from $12 to $20. You can also use a different brand or your own solution. Before returning the machine, be sure to empty the tank and wipe it down to avoid a $25 cleaning fee.

If the machine breaks or stops working during use, you can contact Bissell rental customer support at (800) 749-9062. A representative can help you troubleshoot the problem. If the problem persists, you can return the machine to the Weis Markets store where you rented it and the store will provide you with a replacement or a refund.

You are responsible for the machine while it is in your possession. If it lost or stolen, you’ll need to pay the full cost of the machine. The fee will be determined by the individual store, but, at the time of writing, a Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine retails for $469.
