Vons grocery stores rent out carpet cleaners in partnership with Rug Doctor, corporate customer service representatives said. Carpet cleaner rental prices at Vons vary by location and model, but, in general, rental fees are between $25 and $35 for a 24-hour rental or $35 to $45 for a 48-hour rental period.

Rug Doctor rental locations may offer Pro Portable Detailer, Pro Deep Cleaner, or X3 Carpet Cleaner machines; you’ll need to contact your local Vons to find out which models are available. The Vons store locations we contacted most often had either the X3 or the Pro Deep Cleaner available. Attachments for hard surfaces, upholstery, and other specialty cleaning needs may be available for an additional cost.

Keep in mind, Rug Doctor carpet cleaners require a cleaning solution that you’ll need to purchase separately. Vons sells a variety of Rug Doctor-brand carpet cleaning solutions, including pre-treatment spray, pet-friendly carpet cleaner, and oxy deep cleaner. Prices for Rug Doctor cleaning solutions range from about $7 to $27 at Vons.
