Urban Outfitters Price Adjustment Policy

Urban Outfitters will issue a refund for the price difference if an item you bought online goes on sale within 14 days of purchase. The clothing retailer’s price adjustment policy states that a partial refund can only be authorized once per item, so if the item drops in price again, you will not be allowed another price adjustment.[1] To confirm this information, we spoke with corporate customer service representatives,[2] along with store associates in California, Washington, Virginia, and Maryland.

The locations we spoke to also do price adjustments for in-store purchases, typically following the same 14-day rule, but terms may vary from store to store, so it’s a good idea to contact your local Urban Outfitters to be sure of its policy.

If an item you purchased online is eligible for a price adjustment, you should contact Urban Outfitters’ customer service by online chat, email, social media, or phone. Be sure to have your order number ready. If approved, your partial refund will be processed to your original form of payment.

While Urban Outfitters does do price adjustments, it does not price match other retailers; for more details, see our previous research on which stores price match.
