AutoZone does not turn, resurface, or replaces rotors, brake drums, brake pads, or brake shoes. We confirmed this information with store associates from several AutoZone locations. One of the store associates we spoke with explained that brake services aren’t offered in-store due to safety concerns.

However, AutoZone does sell the parts required if you would like to complete these brake service jobs yourself. AutoZone sells replacement rotors, brake drums, brake pads, and other parts you can use to repair and maintain your brakes. Though AutoZone doesn’t install or resurface these parts, they are usually covered under the company’s warranty and may be eligible for a replacement if they fail (as previously reported).

On AutoZone’s website, you can find repair guides to help you with things like rotor removal, installation, and inspection. If you purchase parts and need to return them but have lost your receipt, AutoZone can likely look up your receipt in-store.
