Qdoba does not currently take Apple Pay. The fast-casual Mexican food chain accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Does Qdoba Take Apple Pay?

Qdoba Mexican Eats does not take Apple Pay at the time of this writing. We contacted Qdoba’s corporate customer service team and restaurant locations in Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, and Oklahoma to find out about Qdoba’s Apple Pay policy. None of the Qdoba restaurants we contacted currently accept Apple Pay.

A manager at a Qdoba in Richmond, Ky., said, “The software should be updated shortly.” Based on this response, it seems Qdoba may accept Apple Pay in the future, but the manager was unable to provide an expected rollout date. Additionally, the corporate representative we spoke with was unable to confirm Qdoba’s plans for adding mobile payment options. Qdoba also does not yet accept Samsung Pay, as previously reported.

Paying with the Qdoba App

As an alternative to Apple Pay, you can use the Qdoba Rewards & Ordering app for iOS (also available for Android as the Qdoba Rewards app on Google Play). The app allows you to submit and pay for orders with a credit or debit card and keep the card number on file for future orders. When saving your credit or debit card information, the app will ask you to set up three security questions — and, for added protection, it will automatically log you out if you haven’t used it in the past 30 days.

If you save your credit card information, you can generate a “Pay + Rewards” QR code and scan it at the register to pay for your order. This feature allows you to pay for your food and earn points with a single scan. Note that the Qdoba Rewards program is available at most Qdoba locations, but not at licensed restaurants within malls, universities, or airports.

Other Payment Methods at Qdoba

If you choose to order your food at the restaurant and pay at the register, Qdoba accepts several payment different methods. You can use the “Pay + Rewards” QR code for in-restaurant orders. You can also use cash, debit cards, or credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Prepaid debit cards will work, too, as long they are from one of the listed major credit card brands.
