Several prepaid card issuers offer mobile deposits, which allow you to use an Android or iOS app to deposit a check to your prepaid card. You’ll take pictures of the check within the app and enter check information, such as the amount, to complete your deposit.
Some card issuers will require you to open a deposit account when you register your card, while others connect to existing bank accounts. Linking a deposit account is how the card issuers make sure that any funds you deposit are FDIC-insured. Below, we list the issuers and specific cards that allow mobile deposits.
