Orangetheory Class Cancellation Policy

Orangetheory Fitness allows you to cancel a class before it begins. The requirements for when to cancel and fees for late cancellation vary by studio, but you must usually cancel about eight hours before the class begins to avoid a fee.

Time Limit

Most Orangetheory Fitness locations require that you cancel a class booking at least eight hours before the class begins. If you fail to cancel within the required time limit, Orangetheory will charge a cancellation fee.

We contacted Orangetheory gyms across the country and found that the exact time limits may differ slightly depending on the location. For example, a studio in Utah told us that it has a stricter cancellation policy, requiring customers to cancel at least 12 hours in advance.

Fees

The standard fee for class cancellation at Orangetheory is $10. However, the exact fee amount varies by location. One of the locations we contacted in New Jersey charges a $12 cancellation fee.

Process

You can cancel an Orangetheory Fitness class by calling your local studio or using the Orangetheory app or website. To cancel online or in the app, visit your list of upcoming classes and select “Cancel or delete class,” or “Make Schedule Change.”

Flexibility

If you have a strong relationship with your home studio and have been attending for a while, the studio may be willing to waive your cancellation fee. Since Orangetheory Fitness is franchised, be sure to double-check with your local studio.
