Life Time offers discounted memberships to current students, the discount amount ranging from about six to $20 off monthly fees. To get this information, we viewed the Life Time website and spoke to employees at club locations in Arizona, Florida, and Georgia to confirm the details.

Monthly membership fees at Life Time vary by location, ranging from about $65 per month to about $230 per month. Student discount amounts also vary by location. Keep in mind, students are not exempt from Life Time’s one-time enrollment fee, which is about $100.

To get the student membership, you must be at least 18 and have a valid student ID. The student membership is typically a partial-year membership, designed for college students who live in a different city or state. The membership is active through the summer until Sept. 1. Students with this membership type can also access the club during the holidays, spring break, and winter break. During the months you’re away at school, you typically pay a flex rate of $10 to $20 per month and do not have access to the gym.

Most locations also offer a discounted rate for individuals under 26, which is typically the same price as the student membership (at some clubs, the age cap is 29 rather than 26). This might be a better option if you’re looking for a membership you can use during the school year.
