Short Answer: Kohl’s has a hassle-free return policy for most items, including shoes. If possible, shoes should be unworn, in the original shoebox, and accompanied by a receipt. However, if the shoes have been gently worn, you can still return them for a refund or merchandise credit. There is no time limit for returns. Can’t find your receipt? A store associate may be able to help you look up your transaction. For more information on Kohl’s shoe return policy, see below.

Kohl’s Return Policy: Shoes

Shoe returns at Kohl’s fall under the store’s general hassle-free return policy, corporate customer service representatives said. If possible, shoes should be returned with the receipt, in the original shoebox, and in new, unworn condition. However, you can still make a return if the shoes have been gently worn. There is no time limit for returns. We contacted Kohl’s stores in Alaska, Delaware, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Wyoming to confirm this information.

Keep in mind, Kohl’s reserves the right to deny a return if shoes appear to be heavily used. Kohl’s hassle-free return policy is also detailed on its website.

Can’t find your receipt? A store associate can look up Kohl’s Charge and other credit card purchases made within the last 16 months. If your transaction can’t be confirmed, you’ll receive either a Kohl’s Merchandise Credit or, in some cases, a corporate-issued refund; the refund amount will be the lowest sale price for the item in the last 13 weeks. All other returns will be refunded to your original payment method.

Online purchases can be returned in-store or by mail. Kohl’s does not pay for return shipping.
