Most LuLaRoe leggings cost around $25 for adults and around $23 for child and tween sizes. Other costs to consider when purchasing LuLaRoe leggings include sales tax and shipping. Keep reading for details on the cost of LuLaRoe leggings.

How Does LuLaroe Work?

Unlike other brands, you cannot purchase LuLaRoe leggings in a department store or boutique. Instead, you can only buy the leggings from independent consultants, a concept similar to brands like Mary Kay. Founder DeAnne Stidham established this business model to help stay-at-home moms balance their responsibilities and demands of parenting with their desire to run a business and earn money.

Consultants say that the LuLaRoe business model allows them perks like freedom and flexibility. Consultants can work part-time for extra cash, or they can sustain a full-time career. Some consultants have even been able to support their families entirely through LuLaRoe sales, though that is not typical.

LuLaRoe Leggings Cost, Sizes, and Availability

LuLaRoe leggings are made of polyester and spandex. LuLaRoe describes its leggings as being “buttery soft” products which will hold their shape much longer than usual retailers. As of press time, their leggings come in three sizes for adults: One Size (OS) which fit women sizes 2-10, Tall and Curvy (TC) which fit women sizes 12-18, and Tall & Curvy 2 which fit women sizes 18+. Leggings for children are available in sizes small/medium (SM/M), large/x-large (L/XL), and tween. Tween leggings will also fit women who wear size zero.

To find out about the cost of LuLaRoe leggings, we reached out to LuLaRoe’s consumer customer service at (888) 231-1412. Representatives were unable to provide the cost of LuLaRoe leggings. Each LuLaRoe consultant sets his or her own retail price on the LuLaRoe items they sell, they advised. However, many LuLaRoe consultants utilize social media to display and sell leggings and other items. A search on the popular site Pinterest for a LuLaRoe price chart returned several results that list adult leggings for $25 each and child and tween leggings for $23 each. Specialty leggings, usually released for holidays like Christmas or Valentine’s Day, tend to be a few dollars more.

LuLaRoe wholesale prices range from $8.50 to $31, depending on the product. However, there are set retail prices for each item. LuLaRoe consultants are restricted from selling their products below a certain price point. LuLaRoe consultants are the only ones who can purchase products at wholesale prices.

When purchasing LuLaRoe leggings, more than the cost of the leggings themselves should be considered. LuLaRoe consultants must also charge sales tax (see this article to find out how that works) on leggings and other items according to the state the purchaser lives in. Shipping charges should also be factored into the overall purchase price. Shipping charges for LuLaRoe leggings will vary depending on the size of the order, where they are shipping, and the shipping method.

Other LuLaRoe Clothing Costs

With LuLaRoe’s soft, comfortable leggings now a wardrobe staple, customers have created a high demand for LuLaRoe dresses and tops to complement their leggings. LuLaRoe is also known for its unique, limited prints.

LuLaRoe produces only 2,500 pieces of the same print, creating a high demand for exclusive styles. Highly sought-after pieces (known as “unicorns”) are commonly sold on eBay, marked up for much higher than their retail value. See below for popular LuLaRoe clothing options, including tops, bottoms, dresses, skirts, and children’s clothing. The entire LuLaRoe collection for men, women, and children can be viewed on the LuLaRoe website.

Where to Buy LuLaRoe Clothing

Independent consultants hold sales on their Facebook pages and via Pop Up Parties in the homes of consultants or hostesses.  Some consultants also choose to hold Pop Up Parties at local festivals or other fundraising events.

If you’re interested in purchasing LuLaRoe leggings, your first step is to find an independent consultant near you. You can perform a search for an independent consultant on the LuLaRoe website and contact the consultant nearest you. He or she will announce sales, both online and in-person, and allow you to determine the best way for you to purchase clothing.

In Summary

LuLaRoe leggings typically cost around $25 for adults and around $23 for children and tweens. Specialty leggings may cost more. In addition to the cost of the leggings, additional charges such as sales tax and shipping should be considered when making a purchase. Other popular LuLaRoe clothing items include children’s clothing, women’s tops, bottoms, skirts, and dresses.

    Hi Lynette,
Learning the difference between wholesale prices and retail prices can be a bit unsetling – especially when you didn’t realize how large the price difference is. We’d like to note that we’re not connected to LuLaRoe in any way and are simply providing information so you, our readers, can be better informed when making your purchases. We hope this information, though possibly surprising, can be of help to you.

How do you become a consultant?

    • Camille

Hi Vanessa! Feel free to contact me if you’d like to learn more! We were going to onboard but decided not to (as we have young babies and it does take up a bit of time) but I have a great mentor that could take you under her wing if you’re interested 🙂

Can a LuLaRoe consultant sell leggings for more than $25. Not including tax and shipping? Just the leggings
    Thank you

      Hi Jojo,

Good question. LuLaRoe’s pricing sheets list a “suggested retail price” and a price range. However, consider that most consultants sell them for $25, so if you sell yours for more, you may have your customers crying foul.

I see the wholesale cost of LuLaRoe’s leggings, but is there anything out on the interwebs about how much it actually costs to manufacture said leggings? With the quality and the conditions of the “factories”, it couldn’t be too much, right?

      Hi Leigh,
Good question! As you can imagine, this type of information is a closely kept secret! What we do know is that the average markup at wholesale is between 100 and 110%. Hope this helps!
