Halloween Horror Nights Tickets at Publix

Publix grocery stores sell discounted Halloween Horror Nights tickets, several store associates confirmed. Tickets to the annual fall event held at Universal Orlando Resort are usually in stock about a month before Halloween Horror Nights begins, store associates said. We contacted six Publix stores within five miles of Universal Orlando Resort. We also called Publix stores in Fort Lauderdale and Naples. All of the locations we contacted said they sell HHN tickets.

(Halloween Horror Nights is also held at Universal Studios Hollywood, but Publix does not have any store locations in California.)

At the time of this writing, Publix store associates could not provide pricing details since HHN tickets were not yet in stock. In past years, associates said, tickets have been discounted $20 to $30 off prices at the gate. Associates also advised that ticket prices vary depending on the night of your planned visit; weekend tickets are usually more expensive than weeknight tickets. Halloween Horror Nights tickets start at $66.99 online and $119.99 at the gate. Multi-night tickets are also available on Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights web page.

Tickets are typically available at Publix until the end of Halloween Horror Nights — or, shortly after Halloween. You can find HHN tickets near the gift card rack, store associates said. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can purchase, as long as your single transaction is less than $3,000; if your total exceeds $3,000, you will be asked to provide two forms of ID to complete your purchase. This limit applies to all purchases at Publix.

Halloween Horror Nights tickets do not include admission to Universal Orlando’s theme park and attractions. To find out about Universal Orlando tickets at Publix, see our related article.
