How to Donate Eyeglasses at Costco: Eyeglass Recycling Policy Explained

Costco used to partner with New Eyes for the Needy to collect members’ used eyeglasses for donation overseas. However, the organization has terminated its glasses donation program, and it no longer accepts eyeglass donations at Costco Optical centers.^[1] At the time of this writing, Costco has not partnered with a new organization for glasses donations.

Costco Donation Options

While you cannot donate used glasses at Costco, you can donate a number of food and non-food items at Costco locations.^[2] You can contact your local Costco warehouse to find out what items it is currently accepting.

Other Eyeglass Donation Options
