Short Answer: Many O’Reilly Auto Parts locations offer rotor turning, but this service is not available everywhere. Where available, rotor turning costs about $10 to $15 per rotor and takes about 30 minutes to one hour. O’Reilly also sells the parts needed to maintain your brakes if you prefer to do the work yourself. For more information about rotor turning at O’Reilly, see below.

O’Reilly Auto Parts Rotor Turning Service

O’Reilly Auto Parts offers rotor turning services — also known as rotor resurfacing — at many of its locations.[1] We contacted several O’Reilly stores across the U.S. to confirm that they offer rotor turning; we were told that you can get rotors resurfaced at most (but not all) O’Reilly locations.

The automotive experts we spoke with recommended that you have your rotors resurfaced with every other brake pad change, or whenever the rotors become warped and uneven. Mechanics and repair experts can determine the condition of the rotors with a visual inspection.

According to the O’Reilly website, its shops will only resurface rotors that are above the minimum allowable thickness and that do not have signs of extreme wear.[2] If your rotors are extremely worn, you may need to get them replaced, and O’Reilly does not offer this service.

O’Reilly stores do, however, sell replacement rotors, brake drums, brake pads, and other parts needed to maintain and repair your brakes yourself.

Cost and Service Time

Where available, rotor turning typically costs $10 to $15 per rotor and takes about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the store location and your car’s make and model.[3] Our article has more details about the rotor turning/resurfacing process.

To find an O’Reilly near you that does rotor resurfacing, you can use the O’Reilly store locator and look for the rotor and pad icon (under the store hours) that indicates the brake services offered at that location. You can also contact your nearest O’Reilly and ask if it offers this service.
