Kohl’s department stores no longer accept personal checks as a valid payment method in stores at the register, according to our communications with the company. Valid in-store payment methods include cash, Kohl’s gift cards, debit cards, and credit cards (including the Kohl’s Charge store credit card that comes with year-round cardmember perks.
