Does Kmart Price Match? Price Matching Policy Explained

Kmart does not offer price matching. Kmart won’t match a lower price at another Kmart store or at a local or online competitor, Kmart’s corporate customer service department told us. To confirm this information, we contacted Kmart stores in California, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas. All of the store associates we spoke with said Kmart does not price match.

Ways to Save at Kmart

While you can’t save at Kmart through price matching, you can save with its free rewards program, Shop Your Way.

You can create a Shop Your Way online account by entering a valid email address, your full name, home address, cell phone number, and a password. Members receive 1% cash back in points for every dollar spent. Points can be used to purchase anything from gas to groceries. Kmart also offers coupons exclusively for Shop Your Way members.

Once you join Shop Your Way, you’ll have the option to link a Visa or Mastercard to receive points when you shop at other Shop Your Way vendors like Burger King, Starbucks, and Uber.
