Short Answer

Field & Stream offers price matching with several of its competitor stores and websites, including Amazon, Cabela’s, Target, and Walmart. Price matches are available for identical items on the date of purchase or within 14 days after purchase. Below, we have more details of the Field & Stream price match policy, including exclusions and the full list of stores it will match.

Does Field & Stream Price Match?

Field & Stream does price match in-store and online purchases, corporate customer service representatives said. Under the Best Price Guarantee, Field & Stream will match lower prices for identical items — meaning items with the same brand, color, size/weight, and model number — at qualifying retail stores and websites. Customers are eligible for price matching at the time of their purchase or within 14 days after purchase.

Eligible Competitors

For in-store purchases, Field & Stream considers a local competitor to be any brick-and-mortar store within a 25-mile radius of the Field & Stream store. Online, vendor-authorized websites selling new, factory-sealed products are eligible. Field & Stream does not match wholesale clubs like Costco or Sam’s Club.

Field & Stream offers a list of approved brands and retailers. Eligible competitors include:

  • Academy Sports + Outdoors
  • adidas
  • Amazon (Note: Item must be shipped and sold by Amazon; third-party sellers are not eligible for price matching)
  • Cabela’s
  • Fanatics
  • Foot Locker
  • Kohl’s
  • Macy’s
  • Nike
  • Sportsman’s Warehouse
  • Target
  • Under Armour
  • Walmart

Field & Stream will also match its own website and mobile app prices if they are lower than the in-store price.

Restrictions

Field & Stream does not match service fees like shipping, delivery, installation, or repairs. It also does not match back-ordered items, daily or hourly sales, financing offers, gifts with purchase, offers for store credit card holders, out-of-stock items, sitewide promotions, or trade-ins.

How to Price Match at Field & Stream

In-Store Price Match

Bring a printed ad from an eligible competitor to your local Field & Stream store. You may also show a digital ad or competitor’s website on your smartphone for proof of the lower price. A manager will verify whether the lower price is valid and either approve or deny the price match. Customer service representatives recommend checking the brand, model number, size, and color of the item before visiting the store to be sure it is identical and eligible for a price match.

Online Price Match

At the time of this writing, Field & Stream processes all online price matches by phone. Call the Field & Stream customer service department at (877) 614-9173 and ask for a price match. The representative will ask where you saw the ad or which website shows the lower price and will verify your eligibility. If your price match is approved, the representative will help you complete your purchase by phone and apply the appropriate discount.

Price Matching After Purchase

After purchasing an item at a Field & Stream store or the retailer’s website, you have 14 days to price match. You can visit a store or call the Customer Engagement Center at (877) 846-9997 for assistance with your price match. The associate will verify a digital ad, printed ad, or the competitor’s website to prove the lower price and issue a partial refund.
