We confirmed this information by calling Chick-fil-A restaurants in California, Michigan, Tennessee, and Texas; 100% of the locations we called said that they take American Express.

Mobile Payments at Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A accepts mobile payments through the Chick-fil-A app for iOS and Chick-fil-A Android app. You will need to create a Chick-fil-A One account to place an order in the app. After signing into the app, you can pay for your order in one of two ways:

  • Add funds to your Chick-fil-A One account using your mobile wallet, PayPal, a credit card, or a gift card, then scan a QR code at checkout to pay and earn rewards points at the same time
  • Make a one-time payment using your credit card or PayPal account
