Does Belk Price Match?

Belk offers price matching for identical items at a select list of competitors — both in-store and online, we were told by Belk’s corporate customer service department. Stores Belk price matches are:

• Dillard’s
• JCPenney
• Kohl’s
• Macy’s

It will also match a lower price found at one of its own stores or on Belk.com.

We confirmed this information with store associates at Belk locations in Arkansas, Florida, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Price Match Time Frame

You can request a price match before making a purchase or after you’ve already purchased the item. There is no set time limit but all price match requests require approval.

How to Request a Price Match

To request a price match for an in-store or online purchase you already paid for, contact Belk’s customer service department at (866) 235-5443 or visit your local Belk; a customer service department representative or cashier will review your request and proof of the lower price and, if your request is approved, you’ll be issued a partial refund. Refunds are issued to your original payment method; if you paid with cash, you may receive a gift card for the partial refund amount. Refunds may take up to 15 days to process.

You can also request a price match at the point of sale by calling Belk’s customer service department at (866) 235-5443 before placing your online order or showing the cashier proof of a lower price in-store. Your request must be approved before you can receive the lower price.

Proof

Belk accepts a printed advertisement or a competitor’s web listing for the identical item as proof of a lower price. Belk will not accept a photo of a competitor’s lower price.

Exclusions

Price match requests are reviewed on an individual basis. Additionally, Belk will not price match manufacturer prices on any of its merchandise.
