Most America’s Best Contact & Eyeglasses locations accept CareCredit cards with a Mastercard logo to pay for eye exams, contacts, glasses, and other products and services. We contacted America’s Best locations in Arizona, Florida, Missouri, New York, and Washington. About 80% of the locations we contacted said they accept CareCredit as long as the card has a Mastercard logo. CareCredit Mastercard Upgrades

CareCredit is a health care credit card. CareCredit customer service representatives told us that CareCredit cards are not initially approved and issued as Mastercards. Once your CareCredit account has been open for at least six months and is considered in good standing, you may inquire about upgrading your CareCredit account to a Mastercard-branded card. Available credit and interest rates will vary by individual account holder. We confirmed this information with CareCredit’s issuing bank, Synchrony Bank.

CareCredit Application Process

While you cannot apply for a CareCredit Mastercard, you can apply for CareCredit and seek an upgrade after six months of account activity in good standing.
