You can get cash back on debit card and Discover card purchases at ALDI, a corporate customer service representative said. You cannot get cash back when paying by check or any other type of credit card. (For information on accepted payment methods at ALDI, see our article.)

We were unable to call individual ALDI store locations, so, instead, we visited a few ALDI stores in Michigan and were able to confirm that you can get cash back on debit card and Discover card purchases. ALDI Cash Back Limits

ALDI customers paying with a debit card or Discover card can get $10, $20, $40, or $100 in cash back at the register. You cannot request a custom amount or an amount over $100. (For the list of stores that give the most cash back, see our article.)
