Do Banks or ATMs Sell Stamps? Answered

Picking up stamps while you’re already at the bank or ATM can save you a trip to the post office. While not all banks and ATMs sell stamps, many do. We’ve listed them below, along with the number of stamps you’ll be able to purchase, whether or not an additional fee will apply, and whether you’ll be able to purchase them in the bank lobby or at an ATM.

Banks That Sell Stamps

We researched bank policies and reached out to customer support representatives to verify which banks sell stamps. The list below includes banks that sell stamps at their branches and/or ATMs. You can see our related article for the most up-to-date postage prices.

Wells Fargo

• Stamp options: Select Wells Fargo locations sell sheets of stamps through their ATMs. Fees may apply.

KeyBank

• Stamp options: Some KeyBank locations sell sheets of stamps through their ATMs.
• Find a KeyBank. You can filter the search results by “U.S. Postage Stamps.”

U.S. Bank

• Stamp options: U.S. Bank sells sheets of stamps at some ATM locations.
• Find a U.S. Bank. You can filter the search results by “sells stamps.”

Fifth Third Bank

• Stamp options: Fifth Third Bank sells sheets of Forever stamps through its ATMs at select locations. Different locations offer sheets of stamps in different quantities, including sheets of 18, 36, 54, or 72 stamps. Forever Stamps purchased at Fifth Third Bank can be returned to the branch for a refund.

Associated Bank

• Stamp options: Associated Bank sells books of 18 stamps through select ATM locations. Additional service charges may apply.

Banks That Do Not Sell Stamps

In the course of our research, we found that the following banks do not sell postage stamps at all:

• Bank of America
• Bank of the West
• BB&T
• Capital One
• Charles Schwab
• Chase Bank
• Citibank
• Comerica
• HSBC
• PNC Bank
• Regions Bank
• SunTrust Bank
• TD Bank

While there are a handful of banks that sell stamps, many do not. Through our search, however, we found that many local credit unions do.

More Information

During our research, we found that many local credit unions also sell stamps. If you are a member of a credit union, you can visit a branch and you will likely be able to buy stamps there.
