Does CVS Have a Fax Machine? CVS Fax Service Availability Explained

CVS does not have faxing services available for customers, store associates at various CVS locations said. CVS does, however, offer copying services, film developing, photo printing, and money order services, as we’ve previously reported. CVS stores also have pharmacies, and many have walk-in MinuteClinics. Unfortunately, though, you can’t send or receive faxes at CVS.

Places With Faxing Services

While you can’t send a fax at CVS, there are a number of nationwide places that do offer the service. Some of these include:

• FedEx: You can send and receive faxes at FedEx. The cost is $1.89 for a single page to a local number; additional pages cost $1.59 each.
• Staples: Our article has more information about pricing and availability.
• UPS: You can send and receive faxes at your local UPS store. The cost is $2 for the first page to a local number and $1 for each additional page.
• Libraries: We called several different public libraries and found that many have fax machines available for public use. The cost ranges from $1 to $2 per page. Some libraries also have scanners available.
