CorePower Yoga Teacher Training Cost

CorePower Yoga offers yoga teacher training for about $1,000 to $3,000. The price varies depending on the course level. Classes are open to those with interest in teaching others, as well as anyone curious to learn more about yoga and develop their practice.

CorePower Yoga training classes include a blend of lecture, practice, self-study, and group study. The most popular training class at CorePower Yoga is the 200-Hour Power Yoga Teacher Training, which is all you need to begin your practice as a yoga teacher. If you want to work specifically at CorePower Yoga, there are also recommended extension classes for additional training.

We spoke with associates from the CorePower Studio Support Center for more information about teacher training at CorePower Yoga.

CorePower Yoga Teacher Training Classes

When you register for your training class, you will work out payment details, including an initial deposit and monthly payments — CorePower Yoga does not require you to pay the full amount upfront.

CorePower Yoga may also have discounts available such as an early registration discount, or a discount for current CorePower Yoga members. (Note: Membership is not included in the cost of teacher training, but is not required to take a training course.) Available discounts are subject to change and may vary by studio.

CorePower Yoga offers the following classes, though class availability varies by location:

200-Hour Power Yoga Teacher Training

  • Cost: About $3,000; some partial scholarships available
  • Length: Eight weeks meeting three days per week (eight to nine hours per day), or 13 weeks meeting three days per week (five hours per day)
  • Overview: This training is for all experience levels and you can learn at your own pace. After the course, Yoga Alliance certification allows you to teach anywhere. You will learn fundamental sequences, demonstrations, anatomy, yoga history and philosophy, etc.

Power Yoga Extensions

  • Cost: About $1,000
  • Length: Four weeks; meets twice a week for three hours each day
  • Overview: The 200-Hour Power Yoga Teacher Training is a prerequisite for this extension class; the certification you earn for this class is from CorePower Yoga.

200-Hour Hot/Hot Power Teacher Training

  • Cost: About $3,000
  • Length: Eight weeks meeting three days per week (nine hours each day)
  • Overview: Similar to Power Yoga and open to all experience levels, but practiced in a heated room; Yoga Alliance certification allows you to teach anywhere after completing the course.

Hot/Hot Power Fusion Extensions

  • Cost: About $1,000
  • Length: Four weeks; meets twice a week for three hours each day
  • Overview: Prerequisite is Hot/Hot Power Teacher Training; the additional certificate you earn is from CorePower Yoga.

Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training

  • Cost: About $1,300
  • Length: Five weeks; 50 hours
  • Overview: Yoga Sculpt includes yoga and strength training. This training allows you to teach Sculpt classes at CorePower Yoga — it is not Yoga Alliance certified.

Yoga Sculpt Extensions

  • Cost: About $1,000
  • Length: Four weeks; meets twice a week for three hours each day
  • Overview: The Yoga Sculpt teacher training is a prerequisite for this extension class; you will earn a certificate from CorePower Yoga.

Advanced Training

Representatives were unable to share cost information for Advanced Training; information on continuing your yoga education is available once you complete your initial teacher training class. The 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification is required before taking this advanced 500-hour training.

Additional Costs

Teacher training tuition includes equipment but does not include books or other learning materials. For example, tuition for the 200-Hour Power Yoga course does not include the required journal (about $10 and up), yoga instruction book (“Journey Into Power” by Baron Baptiste; about $13), and CorePower Yoga teacher training manual (about $60). The materials list varies for each training class and changes periodically.

Certification

CorePower Yoga’s 200-Hour Power Yoga Teacher Training and 200-Hour Hot/Hot Power Teacher Training are Yoga Alliance certified. The Yoga Alliance certificate you earn at CorePower Yoga is an internationally recognized standard and is included in the cost of the class. Once you complete a 200-hour course, you can register with Yoga Alliance and teach yoga anywhere. Extension classes are recognized only by CorePower Yoga, and not the Yoga Alliance.

To find out when classes begin and sign up for CorePower Yoga classes, you can call (303) 532-5112 or submit the online form. Registration for all locations takes place via the Studio Support Center in Denver, CO. All students must be 18 years of age or older.
