Best Buy’s pet policies can vary by state and store location — it does not have a companywide pet policy. However, in general, dogs and other animals are not allowed in Best Buy stores unless they are service animals, customer service representatives told us. With the amount of expensive and fragile merchandise in Best Buy stores, allowing pets inside the store can be a serious liability.

To find out about your local Best Buy’s pet policy, you can call ahead before visiting.
