Short Answer

Ashley Furniture HomeStore does not have “no credit check” financing available. The Ashley Advantage Credit Card and Genesis Credit Ashley Advantage Gold Account both require a “hard pull” of your credit. But, both accounts are available to those with less-than-perfect credit; the Ashley Advantage Credit Card has a required minimum credit score of 650 and the Genesis Credit account has a required minimum score of 550. For more details of Ashley Furniture financing, see below.

Ashley Furniture No Credit Check Financing Options

Ashley Furniture HomeStore does not have a “no credit check” financing option. But, if you have less-than-perfect credit, you can still apply for the Ashley Advantage Credit Card or Genesis Credit Ashley Advantage Gold Account. While both of these applications require a “hard pull” of your credit, you can still qualify with credit that’s considered “fair” or better.

The Genesis Credit account is an alternate financing option geared toward customers with fair credit. If you have a lower credit score or you’ve been denied for an Ashley Advantage Credit Card, you should apply for this account. First Electronic Bank, the issuer of Genesis Credit, will review your income information and credit report — more specifically, the existing debt on your credit report — to determine your account eligibility and credit limit.

Below, we’ve provided more details of each financing option, including the minimum required credit scores and repayment terms. In collecting this information, we contacted Ashley Furniture HomeStore’s customer service department, Synchrony Bank, and First Electronic Bank. We also studied the terms and conditions for each account type.

Ashley Advantage Credit Card

  • Minimum credit score: 650
  • Other requirements:
    • Must be at least 18
    • Provide a valid Social Security number
    • Provide a valid U.S. address
    • Show proof of income
  • Financing options: Six or 12-month financing is available in-store and online with no minimum purchase. In stores, 18-, 48-, 60-, and 72-month options are also available with a minimum purchase.
  • Backed by: Synchrony Bank

Genesis Credit Ashley Advantage Gold Account

  • Minimum credit score: 550
  • Other requirements:
    • Must be at least 18
    • Provide a valid Social Security number
    • Provide a valid street, rural route, or APO/FPO address
    • Show proof of income
    • This account is not available in West Virginia.
  • Financing options: Terms are set on a case-by-case basis. Limits are determined based on your income and existing debt. Depending on your credit history, you may be eligible for six or 12 months of interest-free financing (Keep in mind, with this promotion, you’ll need to pay the balance in full before the promotional period ends to avoid paying back interest starting from your original purchase date.)
  • Backed by: First Electronic Bank

When considering financing from Ashley Furniture HomeStore or another retailer, be aware that the issuing bank will likely report any late or missed payments to the major credit bureaus. If your credit score is already fair or lower, you should only accept financing when you are sure you can pay off the entire purchase amount on time to avoid further damage to your credit.

In Summary

Ashley Furniture HomeStore requires a hard pull of your credit for both of its financing options, but it does approve customers with credit scores starting at 550 through the Genesis Credit Ashley Advantage Gold Account. The Ashley Advantage Credit Card, backed by Synchrony Bank, is available to customers with a minimum credit score of 650.
