Albertsons does not accept returns for purchases of alcohol, baby formula, or prescription medications. All other departments including floral, produce, meat, and household allow returns within 15 days of purchase. If you have a receipt, you will be refunded back to your original payment method. Albertsons Return Policy

Albertsons’ return policy is consistent across most of its departments, customer service representatives said. We contacted Albertsons’ corporate customer service as well as Albertsons store locations in Arizona and Colorado. Items in most departments — including floral, produce, meat, and household items — may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of purchase with a receipt.

Albertsons does not accept returns on any alcohol purchases or baby formula, customer service associates told us. Additionally, returns are not available for prescription medications purchased at the Albertsons pharmacy.

To make a return at Albertsons, bring the item or items you’d like to return to the customer service counter with your receipt within 15 days of the purchase date. You will receive a refund back to your original payment method. If you do not have a receipt, store managers may either offer store credit or refuse the return.

If you purchased a perishable item from Albertsons, such as meat or milk, and find that it was spoiled at the time of purchase, you may bring the item back to Albertsons for an even exchange with or without your receipt. Alternately, you may bring your receipt for a refund or request store credit for the amount of the spoiled product.
