Adobe Military Discount Policy

Adobe does not offer a military discount directly to customers, according to our communications with the company’s sales division. The company only offers direct discounts to students and teachers.

Adobe offers a suite of multimedia software commonly used by professional and amateur artists. Some of the most recognizable Adobe brands include Photoshop and Lightroom for photo editing, InDesign for print and digital media, Illustrator for vector art, After Effects for motion graphics, and Premier for video editing. The company offers both mobile apps for purchase as well as computer software through its monthly or annual subscription to Creative Cloud. Most individual programs range in price from around $9.99 per month to around $20.99 per month. A general subscription to all apps within Creative Cloud costs around $52.99 per month.

Adobe Discounts Through Veterans Advantage

While Adobe doesn’t offer military discounts directly, members of Veterans Advantage can take advantage of select Adobe discounts through the VetRewards program. Veterans Advantage is a nationwide benefits program that helps offer rewards and discounts to current and former members of the United States military.

Veteran’s Advantage members can get 15% off per month on their first year of a general Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, 20% off per month on their first year of the Adobe Premier Pro video editing software, or 13% off per month on their first year of the Adobe Acrobat Pro tool for PDF conversion.

Membership to Veterans Advantage is open to active-duty military, retired veterans, current or former members of the National Guard and Reserves, and immediate family members of qualified personnel. There is a fee to join ranging from around $9.99 paid monthly or $59.95 paid yearly. In addition to Adobe, Veterans Advantage offers discounts on everyday shopping, travel and lifestyle, dining and entertainment, home and office, health and wellness, and career and financial services.

Other Way to Save Money on Adobe Products

Adobe publishes its current deals and bundles on its Special Offers page. The company’s popular Photography package, for example, is around $9.99 per month for a subscription to both Photoshop and Lightroom. Purchased separately, that would be the cost of Lightroom alone — with Photoshop costing around an additional $20.99 per month.
