Aaron’s Late Payment Policy

Aaron’s late payment policy varies by region — and even by store, in some instances. This is because some Aaron’s stores are company-operated, while others are franchise locations.

We contacted Aaron’s stores in California, Colorado, and Nevada to find out about Aaron’s late payment policy. During our research, we found that payments are typically due on either the first or the 15th of each month and a $5 late payment fee is assessed after your missed payment. Grace periods vary; Colorado stores associates told us that a late fee will be charged five days after your missed payment, while store associates in California said a fee won’t be assessed until your payment is more than seven days late. For specific details on late fees and grace periods, contact the Aaron’s store where you made your purchase(s) and/or consult your contract with Aaron’s.

Collections & Repossession

Continued missed payments can result in your account being sent to Aaron’s corporate office and, from there, it may be sent to collections. To find out about Aaron’s repossession policy, see our related article.
