Short Answer

Most nationwide tire retailers do not offer a AAA discount. However, AAA does partner with a few retailers like NAPA, Tires Plus, and Discount Tire to offer member discounts. Keep in mind that discount availability can vary by AAA club location. Additionally, AAA Car Care Centers sell tires and offer a 10% discount for members. For more about tire discounts for AAA members, see below.

Where to Get a AAA Tire Discount

The following auto parts and tire retailers advertise a AAA member discount. Keep in mind, however, that discount availability and exact amounts can vary by local club — some locations may not support the discount even if it is offered companywide. You can contact your local club or check online to confirm the exact policies.

AAA Car Care Centers

AAA operates some of its own automotive service centers across the country, and you can buy tires at these locations. As a AAA member, you can get a 10% discount on all tires you buy from a AAA Car Care Center. AAA also price matches competitors — if you find the same tires for cheaper within 30 days of purchase, AAA will refund the difference.

NAPA Auto Parts

As a AAA member, you can save 10% on purchases at NAPA stores, including tire purchases. To take advantage of the discount, simply show your membership card at checkout or enter your membership information online.

AAA members can also get access to other perks at NAPA stores, such as diagnostic and repair services.

Tires Plus

At select Tires Plus locations, AAA members can get up to 10% off tire purchases. Tires Plus also offers other promotions and ways to save on its website.

Discount Tire

The American Automobile Association (AAA) partners with Discount Tire to offer a discount to members at participating locations in Southern California. Discount Tire offers AAA members $10 off per tire if the tire purchased has a “better” or “best” rating.

If you live in Southern California, you can call your nearest Discount Tire to confirm that it participates in the AAA discount. To redeem the discount, you will need to show your AAA membership card at checkout.

Discount Tire locations elsewhere do not offer a AAA discount, and Discount Tire’s online-only sister store, Discount Tire Direct, does not have a AAA discount either. To learn about Discount Tire vs. Discount Tire Direct, see our article.
