Short Answer

Boots no longer sells store-branded gift cards, and if you have an old, unexpired Boots gift card, you cannot use it online. For more information on Boots’ gift card policy and other ways to pay online, see below.

Can You Use a Boots Gift Card Online?

You cannot use a Boots gift card online. Boots no longer offers store-branded gift cards; if you have an old Boots gift card, understand that they expire 24 months after their last use. If your Boots gift card hasn’t expired, you can use it in stores, but there is no option to pay with a gift card on the Boots website.

Other Gift Card Options for Boots Purchases

One4all and Love2shop are U.K.-based, multi-store gift cards, valid in thousands of shops across the U.K. You can use a One4all gift card online or in stores at Boots. To use the card online, you’ll need to process it as a Visa or Visa Debit card; there is a £40 purchase limit. Boots also accepts Love2shop gift vouchers in stores, but not online.

For gift card options that you can use at similar U.S. retailers, see our list of places that sell discounted gift cards.

Other Online Payment Methods at Boots

The Boots website allows you to pay with American Express, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal, Visa, or Visa Debit. You can also pay online or in the Boots app using points you’ve earned on your Boots Advantage Card.

International Orders

Note that while Boots once maintained an online presence in 30 countries (including the U.S.), Boots.com only ships to U.K. addresses. Boots’ sister sites — which have country-specific URLs — will allow you to ship to addresses outside of the U.K.; these include:

If you do not live in one of the five countries listed above or the U.K., you can find out whether there is a brick-and-mortar Boots store near you.
