99 Cents Only Stores is a chain of bargain stores located in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas. We contacted store locations and checked state SNAP retailer lists to confirm that 99 Cents Only Stores in all four of these states accept EBT.

Using EBT Cash Benefits at 99 Cents Only Stores

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients can use cash assistance benefits at 99 Cents Only Stores. TANF cash is loaded onto the EBT card, and you can use it for purchases other than SNAP-eligible items, such as EBT-ineligible foods and household cleaning products.

You can also buy gift cards with EBT cash benefits at 99 Cents Only Stores. There is a limit of 10 gift cards per transaction. When you are paying at the register, make sure to specify which EBT funds you wish to use, to make sure that all eligible items in your order are covered.
