Where to Buy Auto Insurance Online With a Checking Account
Below, we list the auto insurance companies that will allow you to make your initial payment online using your checking account. We confirmed this information with corporate customer service representatives and various agents from each company:
For each company, you’ll first need to visit the company’s website and request an auto insurance quote. Once you’ve accepted the quote and you’re ready to make your initial payment, you’ll need to provide your bank’s routing number and your checking account number.
After your policy is in place, you’ll have the option of setting up a recurring electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your checking account. The companies listed above also accept most major credit and debit cards as payment.
Companies That May Allow You to Buy Auto Insurance Online With a Checking Account
A few auto insurance companies may allow you to make your initial payment online using your checking account, depending on the state you live in and your credit history. If you do not qualify to make the first payment with your checking account, you’ll still have the option to pay with a credit or debit card.
