Check Into Cash will cash most check types — except single-party checks. We were told there is no limit to the number of checks you can cash per visit. Check Into Cash cashes the following types of checks. It also cashes money orders.

Requirements

You’ll need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID to cash a check. Federal and state IDs, including driver’s licenses, passports, and U.S. military IDs, are acceptable.

Preferred Check Cashing Card

On your first visit to Check Into Cash to cash a check, you’ll need to complete its verification process. Once the process is complete, you’ll need to pay a $2 enrollment fee for a preferred check cashing card. The card will simplify and expedite future check cashing transactions at Check Into Cash. The process and enrollment fee are not optional.

U.S. Money Visa Prepaid Card

At many Check Into Cash locations, you can load some or all of your cash onto a prepaid, reloadable U.S. Money Card. There is no fee to open a prepaid card, but you will need to deposit at least $10 to get started.

  • Requirements: You must be at least 21 (19 in Alabama), have an active checking account that has been open for at least 90 days, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and have a current phone number and a valid email address.
