We contacted America’s Best locations in Arizona, Florida, Missouri, New York, and Washington to find out if America’s Best takes VSP. All of the locations we contacted confirmed that America’s Best is an out-of-network provider for VSP.

In order to use VSP vision insurance at America’s Best, you’ll first need to verify with VSP that you have out-of-network coverage. You’ll also want to inquire about any out-of-network deductible and co-pay amounts, as these vary by plan. VSP’s member services department can be reached by calling (800) 877-7195.

If you have out-of-network coverage through VSP, you will need to pay America’s Best for your exam and contacts or glasses. You will then send an out-of-network claim form and receipt to VSP for reimbursement. America’s Best provides receipts for out-of-network purchases both in-person and online, which you can submit to your insurance provider to prove the amount paid. VSP allows out-of-network claims within 12 months of the date of service.

Keep in mind, if you have VSP, you may want to search for an in-network provider instead. You typically have more coverage with in-network providers.
