America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses does not accept Medicaid. We checked the America’s Best website and called America’s Best locations in Arizona, Florida, Missouri, New York, and Washington to find out if they take Medicaid — none of the locations we contacted accept Medicaid. America’s Best does, however, accept the following national vision insurance plans:[1]

  • Community Eye Care (CEC)
  • Davis Vision
  • EyeMed
  • Heritage
  • MetLife
  • National Vision Administrators (NVA)
  • Spectera
  • Superior Vision
  • UnitedHealthcare

America’s Best also offers its own vision plan to California residents.

When Is Medicaid Vision Coverage Required?

Medicaid vision coverage is not required by law, but there are a few situations in which Medicaid will always cover the cost of glasses. Medicaid will cover glasses for children and young adults (under 21), as well as glasses for adults if they are deemed medically necessary.[2]
