You should be able to find cheesecloth in the kitchen utensil aisle, the paper goods aisle, or the craft department of your local Walmart. For more details, see below.

Where Is Cheesecloth Located in Walmart?

Walmart stores stock cheesecloth in a variety of places, including the kitchen utensil aisle, the paper goods aisle, and even the craft department. A Walmart corporate customer service representative said the location will vary by store, so we contacted Walmart stores in Supercenters and Walmart Neighborhood Markets in Arizona, Arkansas, Illinois, and New York for more details.

Walmart Supercenters often stock cheesecloth in the craft department — typically on an aisle end-cap, store associates said. Store associates at Walmart Neighborhood Markets said cheesecloth could be found in the kitchen utensil aisle (where you’ll also find small kitchen appliances) or the paper goods aisle (where you’ll also find toilet paper and paper towels).

At the store, you can ask a store associate where to find cheesecloth or you can search for the item in the Walmart mobile app. If the item is in stock at your local Walmart, the app should provide an aisle number where you can find what you’re looking for.

Cheesecloth is a gauze-like cotton cloth used for straining liquids to make cheese, broths, sauces, nut milks, and more. It can also be used for craft projects. If your local Walmart does not sell cheesecloth or is temporarily out of stock, you may be able to substitute a fine-mesh strainer, coffee filter, or paper towel.
