We contacted Christmas Tree Shops’ customer service department via online chat and spoke to store associates in New York, Indiana, and Florida to get a clear understanding of Christmas Tree Shops’ coupon policy.
Christmas Tree Shops only accepts its own store coupons and promo codes for online purchases. Online coupons and promo codes are limited to one per transaction and may be used once per customer.
For in-store purchases, you can use Christmas Tree Shops’ store coupons, as well as manufacturer coupons. Christmas Tree Shops stores do not accept coupons from its sister stores or competitors like Bed Bath & Beyond or Big Lots. Christmas Tree Shops coupons typically cannot be combined with other store coupons and are not reusable. You may use one coupon per transaction.
One exception is if you have a coupon for a certain dollar amount off your total purchase. For example, if you have a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase and your total is more than $100 before tax, the store will scan the $10 off coupon twice.
If you forget to use a coupon for an in-store purchase, you can visit the store again for a price adjustment. Bring your receipt, your coupon, and your credit or debit card (if you used one for your original purchase) to the customer service desk. An associate can issue a partial refund for the coupon amount.

I made a purchase Sunday, 12/22/19 not realizing I had a coupon $10.00 off $50.00. My total was over $70.00. Can I still use the coupon after purchase, if I return to the store with my receipt?
Hello, Heather! Great question! We contacted Christmas Tree Shops and were told that, yes, you can get a partial refund for the coupon amount. Just bring the coupon and your receipt to the customer service desk. If you paid with a credit or debit card, you’ll need to have that card with you, too.
