Short Answer

Fresh Thyme accepts EBT for in-store purchases. For more details about using EBT at Fresh Thyme, see below.

Does Fresh Thyme Accept EBT?

Fresh Thyme accepts EBT for in-store purchases at all locations, but not for delivery, customer service representatives said. Fresh Thyme partners with Instacart for delivery, which does not accept EBT. We contacted stores in Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to confirm this information.

To use your EBT card, swipe it at checkout, similar to using a debit or credit card. If you want to split your purchase with another payment method, be sure to use your EBT card first.

What Can You Buy With EBT at Fresh Thyme?

EBT cards allow recipients of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to buy approved foods like meat, fruit, vegetables, bread, cereal, and pasta. You cannot buy non-food items like household cleaning products with EBT.

Fresh Thyme follows the SNAP program guidelines for EBT-eligible foods. For more details, see our list of items you can and can’t buy with EBT.
