Short Answer

Micro Center has no official price match policy, but a store manager can choose to honor a competitor’s price if certain criteria are met, including the item being sold by a major retailer and being currently in stock. For more about how to get a price match at Micro Center, see below.

Micro Center Price Match Policy

Although Micro Center doesn’t have a formal price match policy, if you purchase a product online or in-store, a Micro Center store manager can decide to match a competitor’s price if the following conditions are met:

  • The item must be sold by a major retailer like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc. Independent retailers may not qualify.
  • For Amazon listings, the product must be sold and shipped directly from Amazon.
  • The item must be the exact same (no variations, including color).
  • The item must be in stock at the competing retailer.

We reached out to Micro Center Support to confirm the details of the price match policy.  Since there’s no official, companywide price match policy, the store manager has the full authority to decide whether or not to grant a price match. The manager can also decide the acceptable time frame, or how long you have to request a price match after purchase.

How to Get a Micro Center Price Match

To get a price match, find a Micro Center near you and ask to speak with the manager. You can also contact Micro Center by calling (614) 850-3675 or submitting a contact form on Micro Center’s website. In all instances, someone will review your original purchase and verify the lower price at the competing retailer. They will then either process the price match or reject the request.

You’ll need to provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or online order number) and proof of the lower price (e.g., store ad or online product listing).
