Hi, I have a quick question. I have the receipt from purchasing a money order at a Harris Teeter location but I no longer have the receipt stub from the actual money order. Is there any way for me to check the receipt for the money order number? I need this to clarify a dispute with a landlord.

Hello, Justin! Your best course of action would be to request that Western Union research the money order. If the landlord did receive and cash the money order, Western Union might be able to send you a photocopy of the money order to prove it. You will need to fill out and mail in a Money Order Research Request form. There is a $30 administrative fee for this service, but without the original stub, it is usually the only way to confirm whether the recipient received and cashed the money order. Best of luck!
