2. Temp Card Holders are those whose applications have been processed at the Main Office and have had their card for 15-30 days. Temp cardholders have the following check cashing and writing privileges:

• May cash up to five payroll checks, not exceeding $350 in a six-day period
• May write up to six personal checks for the exact purchase price, not exceeding $150 in a six-day period
  • No cash back on personal checks

3. Semi-Permanent Card Holders are those who have written or cashed their first check 14 or more days prior. Semi-permanent cardholders have the following check cashing and writing privileges:

• May cash up to five payroll checks, not exceeding $940 in 24 hours or $1,100 in a six-day period.
• May write up to six personal checks for the exact purchase price, not exceeding $250 in a six-day period.
  • No cash back on personal checks.

4. Permanent Card Holders are those who have written or cashed their first check 30 or more days prior. Permanent cardholders have the following check cashing and writing privileges:

• May cash up to five payroll checks, not exceeding $940 in 24 hours or $1,100 in a six-day period.
• May write up to 10 personal checks, not exceeding $500 in a six-day period.
  • Cashback may not exceed $30 per check or $60 in a six-day period.

When Can I Cash a Check?

You can cash a check at Price Chopper any time the store is open. Most Price Chopper stores are open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
