Short Answer: There are several jewelry stores, department stores, and other retailers that will size and resize rings, including Bloomingdale’s, Kay Jewelers, Macy’s, Walmart, and Zales. Some will even resize rings from other companies, but most will need to move the ring offsite for about two weeks to perform the resizing. What to Know About Ring Sizing & Resizing

There are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to ring sizing. First, many companies won’t size or resize a ring purchased elsewhere; they’ll only service rings purchased from their own stores. However, there are a few exceptions to this.

Additionally, some companies do not have organization-wide ring sizing services. Fine jewelry may only be available in select locations, so it is likely that only these locations will offer ring sizing; you can call ahead to find out what services are offered at the locations near you. Additionally, it’s important to know whether the company has an onsite or offsite jeweler. If there is a jeweler on site, in most instances, you will have a much shorter wait time.

Finally, note that it’s more expensive to increase the size of your ring than to decrease it, and not all rings can be altered. Sometimes, even if the ring can be resized, the jeweler will only size up or down by one. This limit might be a store policy, or it might be because of the type of ring or metal.
